Montala uses CCTV purely for security purposes, mainly to assist with investigation of security related incidents. CCTV is not used to monitor staff performance.
We display appropriate signage near each camera with contact information.
By law, anyone can ask to see images that Montala has recorded of them. We must provide these within 40 days and will not charge for this. Please pass any requests to the IS Manager to handle.
Retention period
We have determined 6 months should cover most eventualities, and so 6 months is the longest we will keep recorded CCTV footage.
