Sales Administrator

We're looking for an organised and efficient Sales Administrator to assist with the sales process for our popular Digital Asset Management software ResourceSpace, used by hundreds of well known organisations around the world to manage their digital files.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting our sales lead activity and ensure progress across all leads.
  • Responding to sales leads at a basic level.
  • Actively seeking new tenders via identifying then monitoring of appropriate tender platforms and engaging with potential customers via LinkedIn and other platforms.
  • Setting up customised / branded demonstration software for potential customers in a non-technical capacity.
  • Ensuring deadlines for proposals and ITTs are met and project manage their completion.

Skills and experience

  • Experience in the software/IT sector is preferred.
  • You will be commercially astute, cost aware and have demonstrable business acumen.
  • You will also be self motivated, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Your word processing and administration skills will be excellent, and the ideal candidate will also be able to show some understanding of marketing and communications.

This is a part time position, for around 20 hours a week. We are able to allow some flexibility around working hours. The salary is £22,000 a year pro-rata (circa £12,000 based on 20 hours a week).


 
 

Web Application Support

We are a small and friendly web solutions company in Oxfordshire looking to add a Support Analyst to our team to assist our customers in using our web-based Digital Asset Management System. The role will be to solve customer issues in a timely and helpful manner.

Responsibilities

  • Dealing with issues and questions logged by our customers
  • Carrying out software upgrades
  • Reconfiguring customers systems
  • Fixing bugs in the software base code
  • Undertaking minor development work with the potential to grow this aspect over time

We require 2 or more years commercial experience with:

  • SQL
  • PHP or other programming language
  • HTML, CSS, Javascript

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They will be able to manage their time well, and solve problems efficiently.

Linux System Administrator

At Montala we provide Digital Asset Management services to customers all around the world and nearly 200 customers are hosted on our custom cloud infrastructure, with over 40 Linux servers hosting over half a petabyte of customer data across multiple geographically separate hosting facilities. As our business expands we are looking to recruit a capable and experienced Linux System Administrator to assist with managing and improving our hosting infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting our production Ubuntu Linux infrastructure
  • Installing and configuring new Linux systems
  • Carrying out software upgrades
  • General IT support work across all platforms including office based systems as needed
  • Configuring customers systems including SSL certificate installation, SAML configuration, etc.
  • Carrying out regular IT administration tasks such as server reviews and security testing as needed
  • Working with our support team to resolve customer issues
  • Migration of customer data to, and between, our servers

Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience installing and supporting Linux based servers
  • Experience with at least one programming/scripting language
  • Experience with Apache and, ideally, MySQL.
  • A comprehensive understanding of Internet security and awareness of typical vulnerabilities
  • Proactive and able to suggest improvements
  • A positive attitude to new challenging IT tasks
  • Be self motivated and able to research new solutions independently

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They will be able to manage their time well, and solve problems efficiently. Experience scaling hosting solutions including mass storage and virtual computing would be an advantage.
